Southern REAP in conjunction with Parenting Place presents... Tikanga & Te Reo Māori with Pio Terei Navigating Māori culture can feel overwhelming at times, and for some of us, even a little daunting. When we have a safe and welcoming space to learn together, talking about Te Reo, pronunciation and tikanga becomes not only interesting but also enjoyable. We are all part of this beautiful whenua, and embracing the language and traditions of the land helps strengthen who we are as a nation. To guide us on this journey, we’re thrilled to have Pio Terei, a beloved TV personality and proud dad of Ngā Puhi and Te Rarawa descent. Pio will share his deep passion for Aotearoa and Te Ao Māori, and help us explore the language and customs that make Aotearoa special. All community members welcome.
